Alcohol Management Plan (AMP)
The NPA is subject to a State Government instigated Alcohol Management Plan (AMP) which imposes carriage limits on the amount of alcohol that can be carried in a vehicle. These limits are one carton of beer, or premixed alcohol, and two litres of wine. There are severe penalties for being in contravention of these limits.
